Sample Itinerary


Depart JKIA (after your international arrival in Kenya) or depart Wilson Airport (after transfer from your Masai Mara safari) for Ukunda Airport (Diani Beach) at Kenya’s spectacular South Coast. You will be met at the small airport by your hosts at Pinewood Beach Hotel and Spa and driven a short distance (about 15 minutes) to the resort.

Situated on the unspoiled shores of the wonderfully warm Indian Ocean, this intimate and stylish beach resort prides itself on exceptional personal service and attention. DAY Three

Experience a personalized and professional snorkeling and diving day safari to Kisite Marine Park graced by the presence of dolphins with a deliciously fresh Swahili sea food lunch. Pilli Pipa has been running dhow safaris since 1989. It is a small family owned company run by Selina and Harm Lutjeboer. Both are qualified PADI MAST dive instructors and first aid instructors. Snorkeling equipment provided for guests and dolphins are sited 6 days out of 7.

Or if you are not into watersports, visit the historical city of Mombasa for the day or take a private guided Eco Tour at Colobus Conservation, a primate rescue facility and home to a habituated troop of Colobus monkeys. You will also see vervets, sykes and baboons as they pass through on their daily search for food.

DAY Four

After a leisurely breakfast and more time on the beach depart from Ukunda airport back to Nairobi – for another safari or back to your home destination.
